Until and unless the UK Government initiates a particular clause in the EU Treaty then there is no exit and if the clause is initiated then we have two years to negotiate what rules will govern the UK’s relationship with Europe. Even then, with no agreement the existing rules can still apply.
What does this mean for the vote? It means that a majority voting to leave means that our Government has a strong position to change the EU or ultimately leave. There are others that are looking for change so the UK is not alone. If there is a Brexit vote then Boris will no doubt become prime minister and fight for a better Europe, not a federal Europe full of bureaucrats.
